A large glazed apothecary jar, c. 1860, with a ground-glass stopper still in fitting condition; contains approximately three hundred grams of an unidentified dry organic substance.

Notes

Smells faintly of cumin and something else. Not labelled. We have not opened the jar to a closer inspection.
