A small brass pocket sundial in a hinged case, c. 1850, engraved on the underside with the latitude of Lincolnshire and the words "winter only".

Notes

Adjustment screw will not turn past June. Manufacturer's decision; we do not know why. The instrument is otherwise mechanically sound.
